About this property

Boasting a spectacular location overlooking the sea in the coastal town of Ardrossan is 19B Seafield Court. This dog-friendly, first-floor apartment benefits from a welcoming, open-plan living space, roadside parking, two well-appointed bedrooms and a wonderful location just a stone’s throw from local amenities and two sandy beaches; the perfect choice for families, friends, or couples looking to explore the wonders of Ayrshire. After a day full of exploration, cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and locate the open-plan living space which offers spectacular views of the Isle of Arran and where you can unwind on the plush sofas in front of the Smart TV while the designated chef of the group rustles up tasty meals for the whole family in the fully-equipped kitchen. Dine together at the breakfast bar ahead of freshening up in the bathroom and when sleep calls, choose between a king size or a double. During the day take a short walk to reach local stores where you can pick up or all of your essentials or stroll down to the shores of North Shore or South Shore beach which both benefit from stunning views across the sea to the Isle of Arran; ideal for brisk walks in the sea air with your beloved canine companions. Take a ferry across to the island where you can enjoy an abundance of coastal walks or the brave among you can summit Goatfell which is also home to the Blue Pools - Glen Rosa, the perfect spot for wild swimming. Head north along the coast to reach Largs which has a promenade at its shore front and a ferry over to Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae for some cycling or exploring. For some ice cream or a larger meal in Largs, Nardini's is a popular stop. The walkers of the group can take a stroll along the north shore beach to West Kilbride and enjoy some lunch or drinks outside at the Waterside or Seamill Hydro. Nearby Portencross Castle meanwhile is open April to September, is located right on the coast and is a welcoming place to walk on a sunny day with your dogs. Experience all this and more from 19B Seafield Court!

Ardrossan is a lovely seaside village between Irvine and West Kirkbride on Scotland's Ayrshire coast. Cannon Hill Castle, a relic of the town's mediaeval past, was built in the 12th century, today Ardrossan boasts a beautiful harbour and a stunning stretch of golden sand along both its northern and southern beaches. A variety of pubs and restaurants, such as Cecchini's Ardrossan Restaurant and Pub, and food outlets, such as a few different fish and chip shops, round out the beachside experience. Visitors can explore the ruins of Ardrossan Castle, spend the day lounging on the beach, or take a ferry to the neighbouring Isle of Arran, where they can hike to the top of Goatfell for breath-taking views of the Scottish coast. Eglinton Country Park, Cleeves Cove, Kilwinning Abbey, and Pollok Country Park may be found in the interior, while the Maritime Museum can be found in Irvine, located along the coast. From your home base in Ardrossan, you can explore the stunning Aryshire shoreline.

The view from the front windows is incredible, and I honestly think we spent most of the time when in the property just staring out. The property had everything you could need and was very clean and tidy. We would definitely book again! Thank you.

It is not the best fit for people with walking disabilities as the incline to the property is very steep and the stairs to the home are much the same. Once inside, the home is very nice / clean and has fantastic views. I would recommend PS.....One recommendation would be is to have a blind in the bathroom.

Very well situated and handy for so much of Ayrshire . Only change would be to have dustpan and brush to help manage sand that came back from the beach with us but otherwise great property and owner very very helpful.
