This coastal property is situated at the end of the pretty ‘A’ listed row of cottages, where guests can enjoy sea views across the bay. The central location allows guests to access all amenities on foot. Lamlash offers shops, bars, restaurants, a beach, a golf club, tennis courts, a children’s play park and a pier. The property is also on the bus route, making exploring the island easy. For quieter days, an enclosed patio area to the side of the house is a lovely spot for guests to enjoy reading a book or relaxing in the sun with a glass of wine. This is the only property on this row to have this unique feature. After a day’s activities, the living room is inviting with comfy sofas and a wood burner, making it the perfect place for evenings in, especially in the winter months. The modern kitchen, with an American style fridge/freezer, has a dining area for families and friends to enjoy meals together. Climb the steep stairs to the first floor where there are two delightful bedrooms. The house was in a good place and the amenities were all fine. However the bathroom was in a poor state of repair, previous guests had mentioned it needed up grading, so you can imagine our surprise to find it still in such a poor set of repair. Skirting badly damaged, seals poorly done and the cleanness of screen seal unacceptable. Sadly this app does not allow photos to back my complaint, have stayed in many houses with this company but this was by far the worst state we have experienced.

Lovely house for 2 people, well equiped but it would be a squash with 5 people. The bathroom is very small and the taps are difficult to turn off.

A very comfortable and well equipped house. The main problem was the hot tap on the bathroom sink which I could not fully turn off. So it dripped all the time.The first week was a bit cold in the evenings but the central heating was a mystery to me. I was shown how to put it on boost for a time which was adequate. Apart from those two things I enjoyed the comfortable, bright house very much and the location was excellent.
