This coastal property is situated at the end of the pretty ‘A’ listed row of cottages, where guests can enjoy sea views across the bay. The central location allows guests to access all amenities on foot. Lamlash offers shops, bars, restaurants, a beach, a golf club, tennis courts, a children’s play park and a pier. The property is also on the bus route, making exploring the island easy. For quieter days, an enclosed patio area to the side of the house is a lovely spot for guests to enjoy reading a book or relaxing in the sun with a glass of wine. This is the only property on this row to have this unique feature. After a day’s activities, the living room is inviting with comfy sofas and a wood burner, making it the perfect place for evenings in, especially in the winter months. The modern kitchen, with an American style fridge/freezer, has a dining area for families and friends to enjoy meals together. Climb the steep stairs to the first floor where there are two delightful bedrooms. Have gone to this cottange for a number of years ,and have given feedback in the past two years on how the bathroom let's it down needing a total refurbishment. Also hot tap was very difficult to switch off, yale lock on front door broken toilet brush holders rusty and not very clean , and mould in corner of downrstairs bedroomSuch a pity as the cottage is in is an ideal situation and is charming ,but sadly think needing attention and freshened up , usually book again after visit but this year decided not to

A very tired and not very clean property unfortunately. We were just lucky the weather was nice and we didn’t have to spend much time in it! It needs a good deep clean (cobwebs and mould and thick dust everywhere). Dirty carpets , whole house seriously needs a paint. The bathroom is in a very poor state. Hot tap won’t turn off, bath won’t drain(we had to fix it ourselves). And mouldy…. There is a hotel/pub next door which has some kind of ventilation fan that runs constantly so sitting outside isn’t pleasant either! Despite all of that we did have a good holiday but that was largely due to the weather. We won’t be using Cottages. Com again I’m afraid if this is the standard of their properties
