Bay View offers guests a truly outstanding location in Brodick, with breathtaking views over the bay and Goatfell, and is within easy walking distance of local amenities and the ferry terminal. The property is spacious and well-equipped, making it suitable for families and groups. While the cottage is praised for its layout and setting, several guests note that it would benefit from some maintenance and updates to furnishings and cleanliness. Despite these points, many guests enjoyed their stay and found the property met their needs for a memorable holiday.
Several guests mentioned issues such as cobwebs, unclean windows, hair in bedrooms and drawers, and stained mattresses and kitchen ceilings. While some guests took it upon themselves to clean, these comments indicate that cleanliness could be improved.
The location is consistently praised as excellent, with stunning sea views, proximity to the ferry terminal, and central access to Brodick. The only minor drawback mentioned is parking in front of the window, which can partially obstruct the view.
Guests found the property spacious and appreciated the separate living areas, but comfort was affected by issues such as uncomfortable and stained mattresses, a wonky toilet seat, and a loose stair carpet. Some beds were described as great, while others needed replacing.
The cottage is well-equipped and offers plenty of space, but several maintenance issues were reported, including a broken back door, non-functioning underfloor heating, a faulty shower, and a heat alarm. The garden access and wardrobe space were also noted as less than ideal.
There were no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Nice cottage all things you need where in it . Could do with back door fixings as can't open it.The view is second to none over looking the bay. Only thing I can say is take as much food as possible with you as prices in shop is terrible and fill car up before going on the ferry Other than that yes Bayview is worth going to

This is our second visit to Bayview and we go for the incredible location. The view from the sitting room window of the Goatfell is stunning. However we do agree with other reviews that the house does need some maintenance work and if this was done then it would make the house perfect.
