Large, lawned garden with decking and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are steps to the decking area.. Bay View is a red sandstone terraced house dating back to the 19th century. It has recently been renovated (2021) and extended to provide a spacious and comfortable home; this includes a kitchen update, complete with underfloor heating. The living room now has a cosy wood burner and new sofas. There are also two new bathrooms, including a large head shower.
The master bedroom with a super kingsize bed, has a Juliet balcony which overlooks the large, south facing rear garden. It is situated in an elevated position in the centre of Brodick and within walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants, the beach, play park and golf club.
Due to its elevated position, it has fabulous views over Brodick Bay and Goatfell, and its central location makes it the perfect base for your Arran holiday.

After multiple happy years of visits I was disappointed with Bay ViewLast year the back door was damaged, difficult to open and reported. This year it wouldn’t open and was an emergency escape hazard.Otherwise the cottage is a place to make memories with fantastic views.Yes it could do with a refresh but we can cope with mismatched glassware etc.Please fix that door!

Stains on carpet which I cleaned right away when we arrived.Back door not working as previous guests stated,which was poor when you had to go through neighbours. Dirty and stained pillow protectors 😩 that I had too wash. I would like to think mattress protectors and pillow protectors are changed at every change over but obviously not. Lights in bathroom resemble a fly cemetery so generally not well maintained unfortunately. Such a shame as it should all be perfect as people work very hard all year for their holiday.

Excellent cottage for group of friends or family may not be suitable for anyone who finds stairs difficult one bedroom up spiral staircase and other 3 upstairs. Excellent location 5 mins to shops and main street and great view over to Goatfell. Only criticism is back door should be fixed but didn't spoil our holiday. Light shades in bathrooms could be doing with a clean. Well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed 2 livingroom spaces.
