Woodlea Cottage 2 is located in the small hamlet of Dippen, just outside Whiting Bay. This traditional, detached cottage is a great family holiday home with an enclosed garden and sea views, where guests can see dolphins and porpoises, depending on the time of year. Outside is an enclosed garden, where red squirrels and rabbits can often be spotted. The property has retained the original beamed ceilings and wooden doors to give a true cottage feel, yet is equipped with all modern appliances required for an enjoyable holiday. The bathroom has a separate free-standing, roll-top bath which guests can relax in after exploring the island. The Arran Aromatics toiletries provided can add to this relaxation. Whiting Bay is just a few miles away offering a bar, restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store, post office, beach and golf club. Just a few miles further south guests can visit Kildonan which is popular for its beach and frequent seal and otter spotting along with hotel which is open to the public. Woodlea Cottage 2 is perfect for a family holiday or a weekend break. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We had a lovely week at Woodlea 2. The cottage was spotless, lovely and warm when we arrived and well equipped and very comfortable. The owners were full of information about Arran and great for a blether!We are already making plans to return.

A lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is well equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is not great on the island, so be prepared for a slower connection and streaming can be patchy.
