This semi-detached cottage is a beautifully designed holiday property, with glass walk-way, landscaped gardens, hot tub and sauna, offering a truly luxurious retreat.. These spacious properties feature beautiful architectural features and stunning views over the open countryside, alongside a fabulous hot tub. Hillend Stables boasts a glass walkway over the kitchen to the bedroom beyond, as well as a shepherd’s hut style sauna on the large decked area. Hillend Farmhouse offers an electric wood burner for cosy nights in and French doors leading out into the landscaped gardens and pond. The owner has a luxury hair, beauty, tanning and aesthetics clinic just a 2-minute walk from the property and you can book anything from a hair up to a pamper day or even a full face rejuvenation.
Located on Scotland’s West Coast the properties are ideally situated to explore the beauty of the Ayrshire coastline, with villages, beaches and rocky coves to explore. It is an ideal location for cyclists and walkers with Skelmorlie heralding the start of the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a 100-mile long coastal walk. Inland there is walking, cycling, gardens and castles to visit along with the opportunity to ride, fish, and golf (the world famous Turnberry course is nearby). Culzean Castle Country Park, extending for over 550-acres has a network of wooded trails passing along the beach.
Explore the islands of Cumbrae, Arran and the Isle of Bute or catch a ferry to Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula, which gives you great access to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily reached for a day trip with plenty of activities. Beach 7½ miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We had an amazing long weekend away 4 girls for our Christmas get together....and loved that it was decorated for Christmas. Hillend Stables stables has the wow factor. We rebooked straight away for next year.

Lovely cottage, my second visit here. Near to Glasgow so not far to travel. There were missing glasses in the house, only 2 fizz glasses but the house sleeps 6. It was no problem for Graeme to drop more in to us however these things should be checked. BBQ full of water so not usable. Hot tub & sauna great.
