This cosy, end terrace ground floor cottage is situated in the bustling seaside town of Largs, with its shops, restaurants and promenade. Ideally located to explore the islands of Cumbrae, Arran and the Isle of Bute, and ferries also run to Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula, giving access to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Ayrshire offers a varying coastline with villages, beaches and rocky coves to explore, and is an ideal location for cyclists and walkers, with Skelmorlie heralding the start of the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a 100-mile long coastal walk. Inland there is walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, racing, gardens and castles to visit, and a choice of golf courses, including the world famous Turnberry. Culzean Castle Country Park, extending over 550 acres, has a network of wooded trails passing along the beach. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily reached for a day trip, with rail links available from the town. Beach 250 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Well maintained accommodation in a good location, on a side street but only 2 mins walk from the front. Owner was friendly and helpful. Only down side was that one of the bedrooms was small but to be fair the owner did warn us in advance that this might be the case.

Well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Ideal for visiting the local area. Well served with public transport, we didn't even use the car all week. The host was very good providing useful information beforehand and checking in with us on the first day to make sure we had everything we needed. Only downside is street parking but it wasn't a big issue.

Lovely cottage ground floor very nice inside, all you need for a comphy stay beds Lovely and comphy good shower witch I really like I loved the short walk to the promenade beach and town centre For walking the dog, loved walking the dog at night along the promenade nice wee town everything you need for a nice stroll coffee Lovely ice cream shops chippy was great its also a short drive to other places in the area all in all a nice place for comphy break
