From the doorstep, you can explore a plethora of walking trails over the hills, moorland and hill lochs and in the nearby villages on Glenisla and Glenshee - you can even try your hand at some rock climbing and canoeing at the centres nearby. Blairgowrie is a 20-minute drive away and is a great place to spend the day shopping, enjoying good food and is also home to some beautiful wildlife such as osprey, beavers and swans.
