This lovely, semi-detached holiday property is in a peaceful, rural setting, overlooking the Sidlaw Hills in the Vale of Strathmore. Explore walking in the beautiful Angus Glens or play golf locally at Alyth and Rosemount or St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles, all well within an hour’s drive. Cycling, fishing and tennis nearby. Glenshee ski resort is about 25 miles and Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, Edinburgh, Perth and the Highlands are within easy driving distance. Shops and pubs 1½ miles.

Good location to visit family, walk dog and visit local attractions. Japanese Garden at Cowden is well worth a visit. Cottage is well stocked for 4, the conservatory is a great place to watch geese and swallows fly over. The recent comment that the double bed mattress needs replacing has merit. Overall we had a great week.

We had the best week at Bramble cottage. It is so comfortable yet spacious perfect for my Dad and I plus two dogs. We had everything we needed for a week's self catering and felt really at home. It was very peaceful and had beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable and the shower really powerful. There were fantastic farm shops in the area for fresh fruit and a great butchers in Blairgowrie (Irvines) for your Scottish delicacies. The best cottage we've rented and we will definitely be back. Thank you!
