This charming, detached bungalow has been refurbished to a high standard and is located in the prestigious Rosemount area of Blairgowrie. It sits just over a mile from the town centre, so the many amenities of the town as well as the beautiful surrounding countryside are equally accessible. The cottage offers two bedrooms, one is a king-size double and the second is a twin. A comfortable sitting room has a view over the front lawn while the well-equipped modern kitchen and dining room overlook the rear courtyard garden which, with its furniture and BBQ, is the ideal secluded spot to enjoy wining and dining alfresco. Blairgowrie Golf Club is virtually on your doorstep, making the cottage a haven for golfers as well as walkers and cyclists who can enjoy some of the beautiful Perthshire scenery. Slightly further afield are the towns of Perth, Dundee, Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, or marvel at the stunning Cairngorms National Park which is just a few miles to the north. Situated on the banks of the River Ericht, the red stone town of Blairgowrie makes a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful county of Perth and the lovely Angus Glens. The town is overlooked by hills and mountains, making this region superb walking, riding and cycling country. Golfers are very well catered for with many courses in the area including Rosemount and St Andrews and Gleneagles all within easy reach. Glamis Castle has a long history, and is said to be the most haunted castle in Scotland as well as the setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth. The Beech hedge at Meikleour was planted in 1745 and is the highest in the world. With so much on offer, this is a great year round holiday destination for the whole family.

Close to amenities, and next to a choice of walking areas. Dog friendly, with a bowl, towels, bags and secure area provided, would recommend this property to anyone that wishes to explore this area and have a very nice cottage to return to after a day out.

The property for us was great and the owner was easily contactable for queries ie I asked if hairdryer was provided and local supermarket location and I received a prompt reply.

The cottage was so clean, well equipped and comfortable. Beds very comfy. The owners were very helpful in allowing us to store our bikes in the garage. Although the weather wasnât in our favour the cottage was central for visits to Alyth, Dundee Discovery Point, Dunkeld and Loch of Lowes. Thank you for a lovely stay.
