Although feeling remote, the cottage is in fact only a short drive to the little village of Meigle with shop, hotel and cafés serving good seasonal food. Just a 20 minute drive from the Angus Glens, there is a wealth of things to see and do in this beautiful part of Scotland – breathtaking walks, Kinpurney Hill with its prominent Iron Age tower is a good one and can be seen from the cottage, riding , fishing, plenty of golf, and skiing in winter. A short drive from Glamis Castle, the Fair City of Perth, Dundee and within an easy drive of the lovely beaches which stretch out along the East Coast, this is your ideal cottage whatever the time of year.
