The living area is modern, sleek, and offers open plan living with a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area. The perfect ‘home away from home’ or staycation experience! The bedrooms are nicely furnished with quality bedding. The master has a kingsize bed, promising a good night’s sleep, and an en-suite bathroom. The twin bedroom has two single beds or offers the option of one double bed. The living area has a double pull-out sofa which allows another sleeping area for guests.
On the bank of Loch Earn in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Ben Vorlich lies nestled in the mountainside of St Fillans. Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Perth are within an hour’s drive of the lodge. Whether you are exploring the Southern Highlands, the West Coast of Scotland, or historic towns such as St Andrews, Dunkeld, or Oban, this is the ideal base for you. This charming, picturesque conservation village is surrounded by the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
There are many activities around St. Fillans, including walking, golf, fishing, canoeing, boating, historical sites, gardens, birdwatching, munro-bagging, and simply sitting and watching the ducks. For more bars and restaurants then why not take a 10-minute drive to the local village of Comrie, or the historic bustling cattle market town of Crieff, 20 minutes’ drive through gorgeous landscapes? Here you will find the famous Crieff Hydro, Crieff Visitors Centre and Crystal workshop. If you like whisky then treat yourself to a tour at the local Glenturret Distillery.

Fantastic holiday home in an idyllic setting. Everything one could wish for in a week’s stay is provided and there is a lovely, clean, luxurious feel to furnishings and beds. Wonderful walks are on the doorstep, with inspiring scenes of the hills and loch. An Ordnance Survey map would be a really useful addition. We could easily have spent most of our holiday enjoying the incredible views from the decking, especially as the sun shone! The WiFi ,and therefore television, was very unreliable so maybe guests should be reminded to bring other entertainment for lazy moments. Overall a fabulous holiday experience.
