Browse the independent stores, see the 18th century little houses' and sample some local whisky in the welcoming pubs. Walk through some of the tallest trees in Britain at The Hermitage (2.5 miles) and view the spectacular Black Linn Falls from Ossian's Hall. Try stand up paddle boarding at Birnam (3 miles) or pull on your wetsuit and helmet for an exhilarating canyoning experience. For a more sedate activity, why not cast your rod for some fishing on the River Tay or play a round at one of the nearby golf courses?
