A fantastic place to just get away from the day to day hustle and bustle that you just can't escape from when you live close to a big city, The peace and quiet is the best remedy and Osprey cottage is ideal for this, a very well equipped, clean and absolutely unique wee place,The owners are lovely people too, close by if you need anything, definitely want to return.

Mrs MacLean was very helpful and welcoming. Osprey Cottage made a good base for exploring Perthshire and seeing the autumn colours.Osprey Cottage is well set up and comfortable as well as being quiet and tucked away. There was plenty of wildlife on offer - we heard a stag roaring in the rut, and saw red squirrels and a heron, there were blue tits, a greater spotted woodpecker and a nuthatch on the bird feeder outside the font door. We didn't see the beavers, though we saw evidence of fresh gnawing of a silver birch by the beaver pond.Unfortunately Osprey Cottage has no useable WiFi (awaiting Openreach to install fibre cable beteen Dunkeld and the main road end of the 1/2 mile track to Hatton Lodge), and very little Mobile signal (one or two spots on the drive where a 1 bar signal was available).
