Riechip is a spacious property with stunning views, ideal for large groups seeking a peaceful retreat in Perthshire. The lodge offers ample space, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy atmosphere, particularly appreciated for gatherings and outdoor activities. The location is highly praised for its stunning views, peacefulness, and proximity to outdoor activities. Guests consistently appreciate the remote setting and the natural beauty surrounding the property, indicating an excellent location score.
Comfort levels are generally positive, with guests finding the lodge spacious and the bedrooms comfortable. However, some noted creaky floorboards and old mattresses, suggesting room for improvement in overall comfort.
Facilities are adequate for large groups, with a well-equipped kitchen and sufficient dining space. However, maintenance issues such as non-functional showers, blocked chimneys, and appliance problems have been reported, indicating average facilities and maintenance.

The immediate surroundings are very enjoyable to explore. However, the lodge is in need of much maintenance (chimney partially blocked, out-of-date battery in one of the fire alarms, dishwasher filter needing washed, hoover was unusable and needs a replacement filter etc.). The mattresses are obviously very old and the lack of mattress covers was not very pleasant.

The fixtures and fittings are average. For our stay the cooker had one working oven of three, to feed 12. There was no barbeque. None of the mattresses had protectors on, some were badly stained. Considering the amount charged for our four day stay, if you spent just that amount on ugrading the property it would make a huge difference.
