The Coach House met our needs very, very well. It had all of the kitchen equipment that we could need and the wi-fi , TV, etc. were all well explained in the 'Welcome" ring-binder and easy to use.The Coach House is situated up a quiet road, a short walk from The Beatrix Potter Exhibition in Birman and also a short walk into Dunkeld. The train station, with links to such stations as Perth and Pitlochry is a short walk and easily accessible.Red squirrels are frequent, daily in our case, visitors to the feeders and were a welcome sight in the mornings. At the time of our stay much of the road was being retarred and, during the week, we were advised to park our car in Birman, a short walk away. This didn't prove problematic for us, however. I'm sure the newly tarred sections of road and footpaths will be a boon for residents and visitors alike. In any case we were well warned of this work prior to our visit and knew what to expect. The bottle of white wine in the fridge was a nice surprise and soon opened!

Only thing spoiling the trip was the constant 20mph speed limits and speed humps in every village hamlet and town, country side Great local authorities stupid

I enjoyed my stay at the cottage, it felt homely, was well equipped and comfortable. Village shop was fine and plenty of lovely walks. Train station only 5 mins walk. Only used my car once during the week. Dunkeld close by, also a nice walk from the cottage. Hosts nice and helpful. It was a joy to sit in the conservatory whilst having breakfast and see not only the birds, but also one morning, 2 red squirrels in the garden.
