We stayed here in November and had an excellent stay. We picked the property because we were attending a wedding at Rossie on the Earn (literally a 2 min drive away from the house) and made it in to a weekend break with family. Everything was clearly new, the house clean and warm. The living space is very sociable and the kitchen well equipped for dining in. Lots of extras available (right down to tin foil and dishwasher tablets) that we weren’t expecting but were appreciated. We would definitely stay again if holidaying in Perthshire.

Decorated and equipped to a very high spec. Everything you would need. Beds comfy, great shower. Contacted owner as couldn’t work high tec telly, answered phone very quickly and it was really simple to work, she was friendly and chatty. It is a great base for discovering Perthshire. Highly Recommend, would go back in a different season.

The cottage looked lovely but we arrived and were not sure if the beds had been made or not as the sheets were creased and the duvets turned back. Generally it was clean except for some of the oven pans and an old dishcloth left for us to use that was dirty and ripped. There was only one large kitchen knife and no provisions left at all which I find is unusal nowadays. The guest information concentrated more on the risk assessment and leganairs disease than useful information. It said there were manuals to be had but we could only find one for the oven. The digital thermostat took us a long time to work out and I’m digital savvy, the heating was off so we needed to turn it on (it was between 4 and 12 degrees). We made do but I think the owner needs to look carefully at making some improvements.
