My husband and I arrived on monday 4th Jan and the snow was quite deep, we just managed to get our car up the hill to the Lodge and from that day to the day we left we were snowbound in the Lodge. We didnt manage to leave at all to go anywhere for the whole week, we managed to arrange a tesco delivery {who only just about made it as the roads were so bad} and the snow just continued to fall. What an absolutley amazing place to be snowbound, the Lodge is amazing! We were lovely and warm despite -7 temperatures, we didnt need for anything, wifi is great, the smart tv means you can watch netflix, prime and many other channels, kitchen is fantastic with everything you need. Plenty of space with the most amazing views. Owners were very helpful with trying to find another lodge for us when we were concerned about not being able to leave due to the weather.Spotless, spacious great value for money, everything youll need for a comfortable stay is provided. We would highly reccommend staying here, its absolutely wonderful.

Honestly, I've never spent this much on a lodge or cottage but I'm glad I did! I was open-mouthed looking around - it's so big compared to how it looks from outside! Beautiful decor too. This is in my opinion the best lodge as it's tucked away, comparatively private with incredible views. I loved everything about it. I hope to be back x

Had an excellent family stay here for a long weekend. Accomodation was comfortable and spacious and we all loved the views we woke up to each day.Communication from hosts was clear and helpful before our stay and the place had all the amenities we could need. We would definitely consider staying again.
