The forest setting, the abundant wildlife, the trickling sounds of the river, they all come together to make an effortlessly relaxed holiday. Yet there’s plenty of action nearby too. The southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park is a short drive away. A natural playground, it’s packed with opportunities for cycling, golfing, canoeing and a host of adventure sports. The Queen’s View, one of the most photographed spots in Scotland, offers unforgettable views of Loch Tummel and is definitely a must see destination.

The Oak WFA is in need of up-grading and refurbishment inside and out. Disappointing that it has no outdoor seating, and the interior is tired - lounge and bathroom need re-fitting.
