The English coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is within easy driving distance, offering a greater range of amenities as well as plenty of activities for you and the children to enjoy. The village of Coldingham is in between farmland above Coldingham Bay. With a beach and canoeing and surfing, the village also offer shops, pubs and restaurants. St. Abbs, a fishing village is one mile away and its Nature Reserve is renowned for birds and marine life, which attracts sub aqua divers the world over. Fishing and diving excursions can be purchased here. This area is ideal for exploring The Scottish Borders and Northumberland, with their coastlines, walking, golf, horse riding, cycling and fishing. Further inland, discover abbeys, castles, stately homes and gardens. Berwick-upon-Tweed, with its Elizabethan walls is worth a visit and within easy reach are Holy Island, the Farne Islands and the coastal villages of Dunbar, Craster and Seahouses.
