Step into the Cart House and you will feel instantly at ease. The accommodation is more akin to a boutique hotel than your average self-catering cottage.. Think fluffy white bathrobes and towels, and your own 6-seater private hot tub with views of an endless sky. Think sumptuous sheep skin rugs under foot and sinking into super kingsize beds under the best quality Egyptian cotton sheets. Think deep bathtubs, powerful rain showers and the most luxurious interiors. Absolutely beautiful place. We felt at home and so relaxed. Loved spending time in the hot tub and looking out over beautiful views. Helen and zander made us feel very welcome and they were very helpful. Would highly recommend their place.

The Cart House is in a totally rural setting yet many attractions, walks and beaches easily accessible. This location is perfect for visiting the treasures of the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. The local area is pleasant to drive as there is so little traffic. The cottage itself is beautiful. Every aspect has been considered. Comfortable, well equipped (including the 4 slice toaster...lol). Zander and Helen are very helpful and welcoming and watching the rabbits, hares, horses and cows with calves is great. It's quiet and beautiful location makes it so easy to relax after a day sight seeing and the hot tub is a bonus. We would definitely recommend The Cart House. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
