Fantastic location with great lodges, all modern facilities and staff were extremely helpful. Even received a welcome basket. We stayed in the Herons rest lodge and had a view over the river where we saw Herons and kingfishersYou can access the river walk following a short 5 min stroll down the road and access to Ayr is easy. We were able to drive to Edinburgh, Stranraer, Loch Lomond, Forest of Galloway on day trips.Only slight downside was wifi was not the strongest within our lodge, but still usable and the TVs in the lodge came with Disney+. Kitchen came with all the standard equipment and full size oven, fridge freezer, microwave and induction hob. Loved the log burner and very comfortable living area. Beds and bathrooms were very comfortable with rainfall showersWould highly recommend

Wonderful lodge right next to the River Ayr, attention to detail in decor was fantastic and by far the best lodge we've stayed in.
