Nearby there is plenty to do, with several quality golf courses, including the world famous Royal Troon and Turnberry, beautiful parks at Bellisle and Rozelle, historic Culzean Castle, Crossraguel Abbey and Burns Cottage, many walks along Ayrshire’s 80 miles of unspoilt coastal scenery, and not forgetting a day at the races at Ayr racecourse. The bustling cosmopolitan city of Glasgow is only a 30-minute drive and Edinburgh is only an one hour, with good train links from Prestwick. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is only 45 minutes away and the ferry links to the islands of Cumbrae, Bute and Arran are all close by.
