About this property

Bargany invites you to slow down and savour the beauty of Dumfries and Galloway. Nestled on Brunston Holiday Park near Dailly, this charming detached holiday home offers a peaceful escape for families and friends looking to reconnect with nature and each other. From the moment you arrive, the ease of designated parking, EV charging, and nearby amenities sets the tone for a stress-free stay. Step inside and discover a bright, living/dining space where laughter flows as freely as the conversation. Whether you're curled up with a film on the TV, sharing stories over dinner, or planning tomorrow’s adventures, this space is designed for togetherness.

From here, the kitchen is a dream for any budding chef, fully equipped with everything you need, from oven and hob to microwave and dishwasher. Gather around the dining table for hearty breakfasts or evening feasts, with the day’s highlights shared between bites. When night falls, retreat to one of two welcoming bedrooms, a double and a twin, each offering a tranquil haven after a day of exploring the Scottish countryside. The sleek bathroom invites you to unwind with a long soak or a refreshing shower. Outside, the enclosed decking is your front-row seat to the gentle rhythms of nature. Sip your morning coffee in the fresh air, dive into a good book, or dine alfresco as the sun sets over the hills.

Whether you're hiking nearby trails, discovering local gems, or simply enjoying the stillness, Bargany is your gateway to the magic of the region and a place you’ll be glad to return to, time and again.

Located on the Water of Girvan in South Ayrshire, Dailly, or ‘New Dailly’ to distinguish it from ‘Old Dailly’, was developed in the mid 18th-century as a coal mining village. The ruins of the Robert Adam-designed Dalquharran Castle stand on a hill overlooking the village. The ruined church at Old Dailly dates from pre-Reformation times, and houses the mysterious Blue Stones; thought to be Charter Stones, ancient symbols granted to an area in place of a written charter, several legends have grown up around them. One holds they were Sanctuary Stones and would protect anyone sitting against them, and another belief is that their mystical powers would bring good fortune to anyone touching them. The village of Dailly today has a pub, shop and post office and the series of Dailly Trails make for ideal walking, forming part of the Carrick Way. Dailly’s proximity to the Ayrshire coast makes it an ideal venue for exploring the many golf courses, beaches and castles, including spectacular Culzean Castle, and with the Galloway Forest Park nearby and its many walks and cycle rides, this is a great location to use as a base for touring.
