High Wardneuk is an excellent place to visit and stay. We went at the beginning of August. The house was very clean. Both the kitchen and living rooms were of a large size. The welcome pack provided useful information. For example: there were about 12 restaurants recommended in the pack and we went to around 8 of these. The food was very good. To avoid disappointed, best to book your table. There are many historical places to visit. Further information on these locations can be gathered via the internet.

What a wonderful week! Ewan & Fiona couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The weather was spectacular and had a fabulous day travelling over to Bute on the ferry. Just be aware there are fewer ferries travelling back on a Wednesday. The Cottage is just lovely and such a beautiful location. Despite the need to travel 15 minutes in the car to get to the nearest amenities it really felt we hit the jackpot with this one! Many thanks

Very peaceful location with fantastic views of the sea across the fields.Tip for dog lover. We found "K9" dog park less than 5 minutes away for £5 an hour or £8 for two or more dogs. Follow sat nav and once is says you have arrived at destination, contact out of the village and it's 400 yards on the right. PS reverse into the site.Accommodation was great and for a change, the "enclosed" garden really was enclosed and safe for our two boys.We will be back next year Ali & Valda
