Very comfortable cottage with lovely enclosed garden for our Dog. The Cottage was well equiped and we made good use of the Slow Cooker and the Hot Tub. We all slept really well, comfortable beds good choice of pillows. Short walk to the Shop, Hotel and Broch Cafe and for larger shops it was a short trip into Callendar, we prefered the CO-OP to Tesco as the CO-OP had a larger selection, bigger shop. Tigh Raineach is a great location for trips out and about. The first thing we did was to go up An Sidean, tough climb but well worth the view. The start is right outside the front door, we should have taken a picnic. We had a lovely trip to Inchmahome Priory and Doune Castle all the better when using the audio commentary at the Castle. Drummond House Gardens was a WOW! moment the gardens are spectacular we also stopped off at Crief on the way back, they have a great Deli and the Strathearn Gallery was worth a visit. Rob Roy's grave is also worth a visit, great circuit walk up to the Creag an Tuirc viewpoint great view up Loch Voil and made better coming back along the river. We had great weather all week, no rain at all. Although the drive is steep, I found it easier if your passengers waited at the top the drive and gave the all clear to go.All in all, we had a great week at Tigh Raineach.

The cottage was clean and tidy with plenty of space. Garden room, hot tub and sauna were all used with no issues. Wildlife and views were a bonus and would book again.

The cottage is lovely and has everything you need for a fantastic stay. There is a lovely walk up the hill which gives an amazing view down the valley to Calendar. Stunning. The Broch Cafe is well worth a stop as well. Great breakfast. All in all a fantastic stay for us again (second time) despite the showery weather. But that is Scotland!
