I'd never heard of Aberfoyle before this trip, but it was the perfect location for a day trip drive to Glasgow, followed by several days of hiking around the area. Close enough to hills to drive to in daylight hours in late November. We stayed for a week and found it a great place to base ourselves for a few adventures. The apartment was cozy yet spacious and had everything we needed, including a well stocked Co-op within a few minutes walk. Check in details were communicated to us prior to arrival and handy notes were available once inside.

Nice apartment and grounds, within easy walking distance to town centre shops and pub. Sadly we had a lot of rain whilst staying and some coat hooks in the hallway would have been useful for our wet coats. Also bath mats for the showers. Nevertheles a very enjoyable stay.
