Daliburgh is a town on South Uist in the Outer Hebrides and is known for being a crofting town. The beds ensured a good nightâs sleep and we were made to feel very welcome. Our cockapoo sulked for 2 days when we left :-) We are already planning a return

Being keen naturalists, the wildlife on the doorstep was fantastic. We had golden and white-tailed eagles, hen harriers and short-eared owls right outside the door. The machair and coast were close by within a couple of miles. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had all the equipment we needed for our holiday. The showers were powerful and the bed was comfy and roomy. The owner was friendly and recommended places to go as well as making us some delicious scones which were delivered one morning warm in a basket. A beautiful island with a slow pace of life. Just perfect to recharge the batteries.

It wasn't only an impressive property it was well equipped with everything you needed. We took food with us and self catered and had all of the kitchen equipment we needed. The location was great not only local owls and even a white tailed Eagle flew over. Mountains and coast are a short drive away. We had a super break here for a week.
