For a family-friendly day out, make your way to Eoropie (Eòrapaidh) Beach, which is popular with windsurfers and has huge sand dunes and a children’s play-park to keep the little ones entertained.
Venture even more north to the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse for a cultural day in this scenic area, or closer to your home-from-home, the Tolsta walk starts just quarter of a mile from No.29.

With an intriguing little harbour backed by a jagged headland, merging into an east-facing beach, the Port of Ness rests at the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis.
