Dune Retreat is a well-received holiday cottage in Ty Croes, praised for its great location, cleanliness, and comprehensive facilities. Guests appreciate the secure garden, ample space, and the property's proximity to beaches and local amenities. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it very clean on arrival. However, there are comments suggesting the need for a deeper clean in certain areas, particularly towards the end of the season.
The location is highly regarded, with guests enjoying the short walks to Rhosneigr, proximity to beaches, and local shops. The presence of RAF planes and a nearby train track is noted, but does not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.

Facilities are generally praised, with the property offering everything needed for a stay. Critiques include the lack of handrails on stairs, problematic door locks, and non-functional extractor fans. Despite these points, the overall feedback on facilities is positive.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

My only piece of feedback would be check in and out times could be a little more flexible ⦠3pm is a little late, I think more 1-2 would be better and 10am to check out a tad too soon We will definitely return !!

En-suite bathroom and cloakroom WC need a deep clean (we are towards end of season though). Shower heads were really grungy and toilet seat hinges were not nice as were toilet brushes. Extractor fans In en suite didnât work. Bedding and towels were all really clean. Kitchen didnât need anything that wasnât provided and extremely functional. Owners property file was first class! Garden very sheltered and absolute sun trap with lovely furniture . We could have done with a heads up regarding low flying aircraft (raf valley) very noisy but that was the same all over the area and the train track at the bottom of the garden. Overall a fantastic property just needed a more thorough cleaning but didnât spoil our holiday but donât think it reflected the price
