Guests say

Alaw View is a well-maintained cottage in Amlwch, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and excellent facilities including a hot tub. It serves as a great base to explore Anglesey. While some guests were dissatisfied with the immediate surroundings, the property itself receives high recommendations.

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as super clean and well-maintained. However, one review mentioned finding debris and unclean areas under the sofas, slightly lowering the score.

The location receives mixed feedback. While it's appreciated as a base for exploring the island, negative comments about construction, neighbouring properties, and noise from dogs affect the score.

Guests find the property comfortable and a 'home from home', with no complaints about the comfort of the property itself. However, external factors like noise have impacted the ability to relax, which is reflected in the score.

Facilities are highly regarded, with the hot tub being a highlight and the kitchen well-equipped. Prompt responses to issues also indicate good maintenance. One tech issue reported was resolved quickly.

There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Cleanliness and facilities faultless. Hot tub brilliant. Great base for visiting all the island. No noise from neighbours whatsoever in the whole 2 weeks we were there. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you to the owners gor this gem.

  • Helen

The immediate location was poor. There was incessant dog barking and whining, day and night, from a neighbouring rundown property. This made sleep at night and relaxation in the well manicured garden almost impossible. We left a day early,

  • Geoff

Its location in the middle of a housing estate with buildings under construction and neighbours with yards with shipping containers and Brocken cars was horrendous . Dust pan contains the debris of previous occupant and under the sofas had not been cleaned .
