Be welcomed into the social hub of the property, the open-plan living space, home to a kitchen, dining and sitting area, and gather together with your loved ones around the dining table to share a bottle of wine and recount the days adventures as the designated chef prepares a heart-warming meal for the group, making use of the modern amenities provided. After a tasty meal, retire to the living/dining room, where you can settle down around the dining table to sample dessert or cosy up on the sofa in front or your favourite film as the impressive open fire crackles nearby. Pour in the bubbles and indulge in a hot soak in the bath with your favourite book after a long day of exploring. Pop on your pyjamas and catch your rest in one of four tastefully decorated bedrooms, a ground-floor superking-size with en-suite, a ground-floor king-size, a double and a twin, each with fantastic sea views. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room with a washing machine, perfect for putting sandy clothes on a spin. Kick-start your day with a refreshing shower, followed by an alfresco breakfast with your guests out on the decking area, before heading down to your very own private pebbled beach and cove. Head into the nearby town of Amlwch, where you will find a good selection of cafes, pubs and takeaways, perfect for those evenings where you don’t feel like cooking, the historic Amlwch Lighthouse set on the idyllic harbour and the excellent nearby Bull Bay Golf Club. The town holds a rich mining heritage which can be explored on the Heritage Copper Trail or delved into at the Copper Kingdom Centre. Next stop is the charming village of Cemaes which rests on Cemaes Bay, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, here you will find the gloriously sandy Traeth Beaches with beautiful sands, ready for making sandcastles and clear waters waiting you to enjoy a paddle. Cemaes also offers an array of fishing activities for those angling members or your party and a picturesque harbour for those who would prefer to sit with fresh fish and chips and watch the world go by. Further afield is the town of Holyhead, which is home to a major Irish Sea Port, here you will find the scenic Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, a 200-km footpath which will lead you to ancient sites. There is also the historic Caer Gybi Roman Fort, where you can experience a piece of the town’s history and the Holyhead Breakwater, which offers magnificent views over to the bay and beyond. From Holyhead, you can hop aboard a ferry which will take you to Dublin where you can explore the beautiful Irish countryside. However, you choose to spend your time in North Wales, be sure to choose Craig Y Wylan as your home-away-from home for an unforgettable trip.

Resting on the north eastern corner of Anglesey, is the quaint seaside town of Amlwch, which boasts its own port and has easy access to Cemaes and Holyhead. ) The kitchen though was our go to place! Roomy comfy and cosy with Fantastic views, whatever the weather, with good sightings of oystercatchers, guillemot, porpoise and a seal! Hopefully we can return again to Craig Y Wylan.

Close to all amenities yet once you're sat in the kitchen gazing out over the bay it's your own peaceful space. We had a few high tides and it was amazing watching the water come right to the house. Loads of wildlife including seals, porpoises and kittiwakes diving for food. Would definitely book again.

The coastal path to the side of the house was perfect for scenic walks. Each window of the house offered gorgeous sea views and we even managed to see the seal in the bay from the kitchen window. The house was so cosy, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. This holiday home exceeded all our expectations and we would definitely recommend. We will definitely be returning for another visit.
