Llanfechell 1.9 miles. Nestled in Mynydd Mechell, close to the village of Llanfechell, on the scenic Isle of Anglesey, rests this delightful basement annex, Plas Eithin. Boasting a spacious interior and a large garden, this is a lovely escape for families or groups of eight looking to take in the attractions of Anglesey. Set below the owner’s home, you enter into a communal area where you can pop off you walking gear before finding the open-plan living space. From here, whip up your meals in the amply-equipped kitchen, home to all the amenities you need to assist with your self-catering requirements, along with a plush arrangement of seating where you can kick back after a long day. Take the evening outside to the spacious garden patio with a hot tub to enjoy, perfect for alfresco dining or a barbecue in the sun, with an additional kitchen providing serving the outside area. As the evening draws to a close, there are four charming bedrooms to choose from, including the master with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, while there are also two double rooms, one with an en-suite shower, and a twin which is perfect for children. Completing the interior of the dwelling is the shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, providing a gleaming spot to get yourself ready each morning. When you’re ready to explore, the village of Llanfechell is where you’ll find a handy shop, well stocked with the essentials, along with a welcoming pub which serves a traditional pub menu with real ales. Spend an afternoon in Cemaes Bay, where you can laze on the sandy beach, meander along the stunning coastal path, go bird-watching or enjoy a tasty treat at a local café. Situated just one and a half miles from Cemaes Bay, on the northern tip of Anglesey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is Llanfechell, a lovely village which derives its name from the 12th century Mechell Church. The church has been extended over the years making it a prominent landmark and culture spot for the area, where it is believed St Mechell is buried. Closeby is the seaside village of Cemaes Bay which provides a good selection of shops and pubs and a stunning natural sheltered harbour and golden sandy beach.
