Guests say

Riverside House is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. The enclosed garden is appreciated by dog owners, and the property's location is ideal for beach trips and exploring Anglesey. The thoughtful touches and quality furnishings contribute to a comfortable stay, despite some minor issues with noise and maintenance.

The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting its spotless condition upon arrival. However, a few guests mentioned finding dirt under the sofa and an unpleasant smell in the bedrooms, slightly affecting the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, local amenities, and the village setting. Guests appreciate the quiet village atmosphere and easy access to other parts of Anglesey, making it an ideal base for exploration.

Most guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the quality bedding and spacious rooms. However, some guests noted issues with sofa comfort and bed preferences, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen and outdoor BBQ area. Nonetheless, there are comments about maintenance issues such as problematic toilets, a non-working extractor fan, and a lack of shaving points, which indicate some areas need attention.

While many reviews reflect the owner's responsiveness and the property's well-equipped nature, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special extras that would indicate thoughtfulness in the form of tangible tokens. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

It had comfort and space and a super garden area. There were eight of us as well as a dog and it met all of our needs. The beach at Cemaes was a short drive and suitable for all. We loved the local cafe in the village, run by volunteers, the food and the hospitality was great. The pub and the shop were good too, and the local people were very friendly. We loved Anglesey, and will definitely visit again.

Fantastic property great location love the outdoor area Would have liked to be told about main bedroom being above next doors lounge Settees need replacing as well worn

  • Hannah

The house has everything you would need, a very well equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge was beautiful and cosy and the bedrooms were all a good size. My only criticism would be that the beds were very soft and possibly a bit too bouncy which meant we didn't sleep very well but that is probably personal preference. We would definitely recommend and return. Thank you.
