The property Y Graiglwyd (Welsh for Grey Rock) was built by the Marquis of Anglesey as a shooting lodge for his guests. It sits in a prominent position with lovely sea views down towards Bull Bay. It is an imposing four story Victorian property originally built in mid-1800’s and situated in the wonderful seaside village of Bull Bay. It is ideally located for touring the Anglesey Coastal Path, which sits just behind the house and is a two-minute walk to get onto. With many local activities and sights right on the doorstep along with the colourful Cemaes Bay & historic Amlwch harbour, it is the perfect location to bring the family or a group of friends for a fabulous break. There is a free public car park opposite the property and this a ideal base to tour Anglesey, North Wales and Snowdonia.
The interior of the property is modern boutique mixed with nautical, so plenty of stripes and references to the seaside location, but with a mix of purpose sourced antique and vintage furniture and modern pieces to give it a lovely luxury but homely feel. Each of the stylish bedrooms have their own theme, all bar one with fabulous sea views.
The house has large windows making it a light and airy space to chill.
The four-floor property can be accessed from the front via a gated entrance with a Victorian wrought iron table and chairs, ideal for an early morning cuppa to watch the world go by and take in the view down to the bay. You can also access the garden via side steps. To say the owners of this property are dog enthusiasts is an understatement and as a result they understand that a happy dog leads to a happy household, so they have gone all out for your fluffy friends, creating them their very own bedroom. We had a wonderful stay at Y Graiglwyd. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children.The welcome pack was delicious and really thoughtful, including essentials of bread, butter and milk. The bedrooms are all well equipped and we had lots of space. The weather wasn’t great for our stay so we didn’t manage to take advantage as much as we had hoped of the lovely outdoor space and bbq- but dis take advantage of the cinema room and played games and jigsaws at the massive dining table. Easy to access the coastal walk from the house, with amazing views. Would definetly recommend

Our holiday ended Monday 16th Feb and I waited a few days to ask when my security deposit would be returned. On Friday 20th Feb the owner rang and accused us of damaging the pool table. We had photographs that proved this was not the case. Communication was poor and we waited several days for any updates. It has taken until 2nd March to have only part of our deposit returned. Through no fault of ours we have been charged for damages we did not cause, no invoice, no receipts no proof of repair.
