Brook Cottage in Anglesey is highly praised for its peaceful location, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, the lovely garden, and the convenience for exploring Beaumaris and Anglesey. Some minor maintenance issues and housekeeping oversights are mentioned, but overall, guests are delighted with their stays and often express a desire to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with many guests finding it spotless upon arrival. However, a few guests noted issues such as cobwebs, spiders, and a specific incident with unclean bedding, which slightly lowers the score.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions and walks. Its peaceful setting and ease of access to Beaumaris and other parts of Anglesey contribute to a high score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy furnishings and the effective central heating. Some guests, however, have suggested that the mattresses could be firmer, indicating room for improvement.
The property is well-equipped and guests are generally satisfied with the facilities provided. There are comments about a superb shower and a well-equipped kitchen. Deductions are made for reported issues with heating, a broken kettle lid, and a washing line, suggesting some attention to maintenance is needed.
While some guests mention receiving Welsh cakes and milk upon arrival, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null, and it should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The most beautiful sunrises may be seen in Beaumaris, a well-known ancient town on the Isle of Anglesey that is situated on the Menai Strait and overlooks the Snowdonia Mountain range. It is also well-known as a significant hub for sailing, with its Edward I-era mediaeval castle (now a World Heritage site) and Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse. With a long history, Beaumaris still has a lot of its original mediaeval street layout. The town's environment, diversity of architectural styles and eras, variable scale, open spaces, different roofing, and overall quality all play a significant role in the character of the community. In addition to a golf course close by, the town offers a good assortment of stores, eateries, and bars, as well as options for boat trips and fishing.

Warm and cosy. All aspects of comfort catered for in a very clever design. We had to delay our stay by a day as due to a painful rib injury, the comfortable pillows, beds and furniture were greatly appreciated. Very easy to reach beaches and very close to Beaumaris. On this visit we used the car more however, both within walking distance and very dog friendly. Perfect base for a fabulous holiday. Would recommend.

Modern, tastefully furnished, with every facility to make the stay an uncomplicated one (even a log fire available if needed). With our small dog Belle we were able to visit a number of National Trust properties and of course Bodnant Gardens ! Beaches were also plentiful and within a short car ride. Getting used to the 'scattergun approach' to the 20mph speed limit kept the car driver alert !! Nearby Beaumaris provided a number of eating places and excellent, varied retail therapy. We enjoyed the whole experience.

It was beautifully presented. The bed was really comfortable and the property had everything we needed. The garden was perfect for our dog who loves exploring. The milk and Welsh cakes on arrival were a lovely touch too, thank you. We were perfectly situated to be able to explore North Wales. The only negative was that there were a lot of cobwebs and spiders everywhere which we went around with the hoover taking down from the walls and ceilings. This didnât look like it had been done for a while and there were a lot.
