Chimney Corner is located right on the seafront of the heart of the beautiful Victorian seaside town of Beaumaris. Being on the North West of the region gives you surprisingly good connections onto the main roads of the area taking you to the coast of North Wales, the mountains and adventures of Snowdonia , the beauty of the Lleyn Peninsula and the gorgeous beaches and coastal walks of the Isle of Anglesey. We are also only a 15 min taxi ride from Bangor with its connections to Cheshire and direct trains to London on the main line to Holyhead.
The house has 8 very good-sized bedrooms, one of which is easy access on the ground floor. There is a pool table with probably the best views in the region. This converts to dining table to seat 16 guests. There is also an industrial style kitchen which has ample equipment and space for any budding cooks, with space for eating for smaller group up to 8 in the kitchen if preferred.
We also have a separate room with TV & games, as well as a sauna.
Outside is a terrace with a seating area for the amazing views of the Menai Straits and Snowdonia mountain range beyond. An odd dolphin has been known to pop up on occasion.
Parking can be a real problem in the town, so our parking makes your holiday so much more relaxing when you can park up to 4 cars with ease and more if you are happy to manoeuvre for your fellow guests.
Apart from the outstanding views, the location also gives you all you need on your doorstep after a busy day out enjoying the area. There are excellent restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, ice cream parlours, delicatessen, clothes shops, wonderful homewares shop and galleries displaying local artists work. All within 1 to 5 mins walk from your door. No car required once you get back to your home for the week.
We are aiming to be as environmentally friendly as we can at the property. Using eco friendly cleaning products; using a recycling company that is aiming to be worldclass in its ability to recycyle; using sustainable energy and carbon offsetting our gas use and we also recommend the local main line train station for travelling to the area and can recommend hire car companies as well as having local buses on your doorstep.
Access to the property is not completely level as there is a small step at the front and very small threshold at the back. There is a double /twin room on the ground floor and a shower/WC. All the ground floor kitchen/hall/lounge/dining are all on the same level. No steps.
