Guests say

Seion Chapel in Beaumaris is a beautifully converted property, praised for its spaciousness, stylish decor, and comfortable furnishings. Its prime location is ideal for exploring Anglesey, with easy access to local shops, pubs, and the beach. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, luxurious touches like a spa bath, and thoughtful welcome packs, although these are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as spotless. However, there are mentions of mould in bathrooms, a damp smell in some rooms, and issues with shower cleanliness, which slightly lower the score.

The location is highly praised for being close to the sea, local amenities, and within walking distance to shops and eateries. Parking can be challenging, but this does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback on location.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the property spacious. Some noise issues due to proximity to the road and light penetration through windows are noted, but overall, the comfort level is high.

The property is well-furnished with high-quality fixtures and a well-equipped kitchen. However, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as problematic showers, a complicated TV system, and non-functioning appliances, which affect the score.

Many guests mention and appreciate the welcome packs and extra touches like records and games. While these are well-received, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to availability and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Couldn't get the shower to work in the rear bedroom. Spacious living area, which we enjoyed.

  • Gavin

Easy access to the whole town and the wider area.

Initially we were delighted with the spacious chapel. However there were issues. 1.The electric fire did not turn on. We really only wanted the light as a focal point. 2.The shower in front bedroom did not heat up. 3.Because 'wall' between the 2 double bedrooms was indeed only a wooden adjoining door every snore, movement could be heard. 4. Most importantly the settee collapsed with a leg snapping. It looked like there had been a repair already done on one of the other legs. Also on checking the legs on the accompanying armchair one leg looked to be at the wrong angle. For the price paid I expected better.
