Gwenallt is a quaint and cosy cottage in Anglesey, appreciated for its good location and charming character. Guests have enjoyed the peaceful garden, the proximity to beautiful beaches and woodlands, and the welcoming touches such as Welsh cakes on arrival. While some found the cottage to be a comfortable and value-for-money choice, others noted areas for improvement.
The cleanliness of the cottage received mixed reviews, with several guests noting the presence of dust, cobwebs, and unclean kitchenware. However, some guests found the property to be tidy, suggesting inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to stunning beaches, woodlands, and the peacefulness of the surrounding area. However, some guests noted issues with parking and the accuracy of the property's location description.
Guests have mixed feelings about comfort; some found the beds very comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the log burner, while others mentioned uncomfortable sofas and issues with heating and dampness.
Facilities and maintenance are areas of concern, with guests reporting problems with heating, outdated appliances, and general wear. The lack of Wi-Fi and a freezer were noted, but some guests were satisfied with the basic amenities provided.
Several guests mentioned a thoughtful welcome with gifts such as Welsh cakes, tea, and milk. While these gestures were appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are a courtesy and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

Go on over to trip advisor reviews where I shared in pictures just some of the things we had to endure. 1 hour after checking in we were looking for other properties to go to, but there was none. There was no point contacting the owners as other than a complete refurbishment there was nothing they could do. Don't let this property ruin your holiday like it did ours.

Obvious signs of damp and mould everywhere. A musty smell pervaded the house. On the plus side the cottage is quite quaint and well situated for a holiday on Anglesey.

Could have been cleaner (an observation not a complaint ) Nice touch with milk and cakes on arrival
