Guests consistently praise Aurora for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and secure garden, ideal for both children and pets. The hot tub is a highlight, contributing to the property's relaxing atmosphere. Its location in Trearddur Bay is appreciated for proximity to beaches and local amenities. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with special mentions of the owner's considerate touches.
The majority of reviews highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'immaculately clean'. One review mentioned dog hairs, but this seems an isolated comment in the context of otherwise positive feedback.
The property's location is frequently praised for its quietness, proximity to the beach, and local amenities. Guests appreciate the easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and scenic walks, making it an ideal holiday spot.
Comfort is well-received with mentions of a 'cosy and comfortable' setting. However, a few guests noted the beds and sofa could be more comfortable, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
Facilities like the hot tub, garden, and play equipment are highly valued by guests. Some reviews suggest the kitchen and outdoor lighting could be updated, and there were comments about the hot tub lights not working, indicating some maintenance needs.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures, such as a Christmas present for a guest's daughter, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to score this category accurately. It should be noted that such personal touches, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.
Nestled on the outskirts of the popular village of Treaddur Bay, Anglesey, is this wonderful two-bedroom bungalow, Aurora. Enjoying a prime position on the Western shore of Holy Island, just moments away from a beautiful Blue Flag beach and with stunning mountain views, Aurora is a fantastic dwelling for couples or a family of four seeking their next coastal retreat. Park-up on the driveway, before being greeted by a neat front garden with bench seating, a perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee as you soak up the mountain views. Look forward to whipping up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a handy washer/dryer, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a bottle of wine. If the weather is nice, why not make dinner an alfresco affair and dine out in the rear enclosed garden, as the little ones can run and play? There is also an outdoor shower for washing off sandy toes! After dinner, indulge in a soothing dip in the bubbling hot tub as you recount the day's adventures. As the evening cools, retire to the sitting room where you can snuggle up and enjoy a family favourite on the Smart TV with DVD player. When sleep calls, choose from two well-appointed bedrooms, a king-size with TV and Amazon firestick and a twin with Smart TV, ideal for a leisurely wake-up watching your favourite shows. In the morning, prepare for the day in style with a soak in the bath or refreshing shower, before heading out for a day of adventure. Pack-up your bathing suits, swimming trunks, buckets and spades, and head straight for the glorious Blue Flag sands of Traeth Trearddur, where you can bathe on the sands, learn to surf, or build sandcastles with the little ones. Treat your loved ones to fresh and local seafood at one of the welcoming eateries of The Ocean’s Edge Restaurant, Bay Restaurant, and Seacroft. Other attractions within the village include the excellent Holyhead Golf Club, The Beach Golf Course, and the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve. From here you can easily access the bustling town of Holyhead, where you can embark on a scenic walk along the renowned Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, wander the Holyhead Maritime Museum, picnic in the Parc Arfordirol Penrhos Coastal Park, or dine out at the popular Langdons Restaurant and Bar. For a memorable day trip, why not hop aboard a ferry to Dublin, where you can sample the delights of Irish life? Your next escape to Anglesey awaits at Aurora.
Holy Island's Trearddur Bay may be found on the island's western shore.
Great expanse of low grassy shoreline, indented by several little bays and fine sandy beaches, is very stunning (European Blue Flag).
Summertime activities include watersports, swimming, sailing, and windsurfing, as well as golfing at Holyhead's 18-hole links course.
RSPB's South Stack Lighthouse Reserve is famous for its birdwatching, and there are many of rock pools and cliff-top treks to be discovered in the vicinity. Trearddur Bay itself has a variety of shops, pubs, and restaurants, but Holyhead, a short drive away, has a larger selection of services, such as a first-rate leisure centre, a charming harbour front, a marina, the world's second-longest breakwater, and ferry journeys to Dublin. Holyhead's Maritime Museum Cafe and Holyhead Breakwater Country Park offer lovely hikes for visitors to enjoy. Further away, you'll find Newborough, a beautiful forest and beach, and Beaumaris, a historic town with a castle. Plenty to do and see at a terrific location!

The house was clean and comfortable. Only a few little negatives which were sorted by the owner who was a great help. Unfortunately Sykes were a nightmare to get hold of. Of no use whatsoever.
