Guests say

Ffrwd Lodge in Anglesey is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-maintained property, its proximity to beautiful beaches, and the thoughtful touches like welcome goodies. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a homely and private setting.

The lodge consistently receives compliments for its spotless condition upon arrival, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. A few minor comments about cobwebs do not detract significantly from the overall perception of a well-kept property.

The lodge's location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to beaches and attractions. It offers privacy and scenic views, although a few guests noted it is a drive away from the coast path and walking paths are not adjacent.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. The spaciousness and homely feel contribute to the comfort level, although there are suggestions for minor improvements.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample parking. However, some guests mention the need for updates to certain amenities and the absence of a washing machine. Maintenance issues like a soft bathroom floor and a problematic door lock are noted.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs provided, which are frequently mentioned and appreciated. However, it is important to note that such gifts, while a lovely gesture, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

It is very well equipped. The power shower in the en suite is marvellous! The views of the countryside all around the lodge are beautiful. We appreciated the Welsh cakes and delicious bara brith! The lodge is well situated for exploring the area, though Anglesey is easy to explore, wherever you stay. We were lucky with the weather and saw Rhosneigr beach in beautiful sunshine. We had a great week at Ffrwd Lodge, and would very happily stay again. Many thanks.
