Y Wennol in Holyhead offers a peaceful and comfortable stay with stunning views and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the beautiful location, and the thoughtful touches from the owner, Gwyneth. Despite some minor issues with water pressure and facilities, the property is highly recommended for its tranquillity, proximity to nature, and dog-friendly environment.
The majority of guests have praised the property for its immaculate cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting the spotless condition. Only one review mentioned a lack of soap, but this does not detract significantly from the overall high standard of cleanliness observed by guests.
The location is frequently described as beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views and proximity to local walks and places of interest. Some guests found it a bit remote, but this seems to be more of a positive aspect for those seeking tranquillity.
Guests have found the cottage comfortable, with a warm and snug environment, and a well-equipped setup. The presence of a super king-size bed and the suitability for dogs add to the comfort level. However, a few guests mentioned issues with water pressure, which suggests room for improvement.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being described as well-equipped. However, there are several mentions of water pressure problems and a lack of instructions for appliances, which indicates that maintenance could be enhanced.
The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating welcome gifts such as wine, biscuits, and fresh eggs. While these gestures are highly valued, it is important to note that such extras are subject to availability and are a courtesy rather than a guarantee.

Wonderful views from the cottage. Great sized living room/kitchen. Comfy super king-size bed. Lovely owner Gwyneth who made a field available for our 4 dogs to have a run around and provided milk and wine and brought us some eggs too! This is the 3rd time we've been here since last December and will be booking to come again very soon!

Thank you we would stay again

A great place to either sit relax and do nothing or as a base to explore the area. The property totally met or expectations and the owner Gwyneth was a wonderful and welcoming host. Somewhere we would recommend and defiantly visit again.
