Bronallt Barns is a perfect base for exploring the lovely beaches of Anglesey and is within a mile of shops, pubs and restaurants in Valley. It is also close to wonderful walking opportunities on the Anglesey Coastal Path. Birdwatchers will enjoy the rspb Reserve at South Stack, and a myriad of exhilarating outdoor pursuits can be easily accessed in the nearby Snowdonia National Park. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Absolutely lovely cottage. Everything you could need is available. Catering for all ages, my elderly parents had the downstairs bedroom & found this had easy access & wet room. Only negative they said was they would have like a shower chair available in the wet rooms. The room was a bit too cold for them but the rest of the house was hot we had to keep turning the heating down. Fully fitted kitchen and large with a lovely large area at the side for all of us to eat.The bedrooms upstairs were large and most were en-suite. The king size bed was not the most comfortable for us but the rest of my family slept well. Everything you need is available in the house. It’s a home from home. Outside was fantastic, lovely outdoor space for the dogs, big field for them to run on every morning and they loved it. Fabulous hot tub in the corner which was a welcome relief after a long walk. Nearby you have a few pubs and restaurants which are 3 mins by car. If. You want to venture further you can enjoy long walks in Penrhos Coastal Path. Lovely views, lots of sandy bays, forest walks Perfect dog walk whatever the weather. You can dip in & out of the forest too & get some shade, hide from the wind and then go back on the beach if it’s sunny! Lots of waste bins for doggy poop and it’s very clean!! Lovely beach/coastal path which is suitable for prams/wheelchairs. There is a war memorial & lots of benches & picnic tables. The remains of old derelict buildings hiding in the trees are part of the original grand country house and its associated facilities .Other historical estate buildings from the early 19th century still stand (some in ruins), including:•Bailiff’s Tower with boundary wall and gates•Barn & cart sheds•The intriguingly named “Betting Stand” or “Rotten Tower”, built as a vantage point for horse racing on the estate•Candle Tower along with service courtyard walls•Water Tower•The Battery, likely a defensive folly constructed during the Napoleonic Wars•Tower, walls, and courtyard buildings associated with the service areas of the mansion.Good paths, well maintained. A mountain bike track too. Decent size car park which is free and finish off a lovely cafe with outdoor seats, dogs welcome. Enjoy a lovely hot chocolate and a sandwich, or breakfast if you’re hungry! Further into Penrhos you have an industrial estate with supermarkets and restaurants.We decided to the other bays as we normally visit Benllech. So we went over to Church bay and Trearddur Bay. Lovley bays with beautiful beaches the dogs enjoyed. Fantastic restaurants to suit everyone. I have to give a big mention to St David’s Spa for fitting us all in. We have been before and wanted to go again, so we popped back over the other side, 30 mins. drive , had a lovely massage and facial using Elemis products & then went to Ann’s pantry in Moelfre for afternoon tea. If you are going to do an afternoon tea, I fully recommend Ann’s Pantry. This holiday was perfect for us. Definitely be back with the family. Things to note, pets are not allowed upstairs in the property so bring something to stop them going upstairs as this is not provided. We are lucky as we have a fold away gate that packs away an easily. Lesson learnt at a previous property that had no gates & have 2 labs! If I have one critique, when we arrived the living room kept giving a smell of incense which was very strong. We looked everywhere for a plug in aroma but couldn’t find anything to switch it off. This was probably nice for some people but caused us a lot of headaches and blocked noses. Unsure where the event was coming from but we pinned it to the living room. The rest of the house was fine.Thanks for great accommodation and we will be back.

We had the most amazing time here for new year with my sis and her family everything u need was there even tea coffee sugar & milk hot tub was the kids best part. the supermarkets are bout 10 mins away but everything was there Tesco’s Asda, Morrisons, home bargain, B&m plus more we loved it that much we have booked again for new year :)

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was convenient, and the check-in proces was smooth and easy. Phanie was a thoughtful and responsive host, making sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. Highly recommended!
