Start your morning admiring an exhibition of landscape paintings, photography, and sculptures at the Oriel Mon Museum ahead of embarking on a stroll through the Cors Bodeilio National Nature Reserve. Travelling towards Llanfairpwll, uncover a variety of marine life at Anglesey Sea Zoo or treat your loved ones to a fun-filled day meeting the animals at Foel Farm Park; close by you can also tour the Anglesey Transport Museum and Café as well as the Bodowyr Burial Chamber. Be sure to pack your golf clubs, as Caernarfon Golf Club resides only a short distance away by car, as does the impressive 13th century structure of Caernarfon Castle which is situated on the banks of the River Seiont. Try your hand at a variety of watersports at Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre, delight in a beautiful array of fauna at Plas Newydd House and Gardens or traverse as far as Bangor where the infamous Garth Pier awaits. Llangefni is centrally located on Anglesey, situated only 7 miles from the wonderful beaches at Benllech and Red Wharf Bay, which offer miles of sandy coastline. This area of Anglesey is renowned for its beautiful sunsets, and the nearby beaches are ideal for families with safe, shallow bathing waters. The charming town of Beaumaris, the Sea Zoo, Pili Butterfly Palace and Plas Newydd are all on the island, while on the mainland, Penrhyn Castle, Bodnant Gardens and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia are easily reached, making Llangefni an ideal holiday base, all year round.
