The Manor House at Rhosneigr Country Plas is a fabulous family friendly country house perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey.
Follow the avenue of lime trees down the drive to this elegant Victorian manor house. Built in 1866 by the then Sheriff of Anglesey and later owned by a former Vogue model. It was once rumoured to be considered as a 'hide away' for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when the Prince was based in RAF Valley as a helicopter pilot.
The house has a striking unusual feature of a long window that dominates the front of the property, topped by a bell tower whose bell was salvaged from a shipwreck in Anglesey in 1853.
The front door opens into a vestibule with an elegant 'arts and crafts' doorway leading into the characterful sitting room a spacious room with a period fireplace and wood burning stove, surrounded by comfortable seating and a large round dining table for more formal meals.
Relax in the light-filled conservatory at the side of the sitting room with views out onto a large lawn - perfect play area for children to let off steam! Spot the tiny medieval church hidden in the fields beyond dedicated to St. Ulched a local Welsh Saint.
The kitchen with breakfast area is spacious and light with pale grey kitchen units and refectory table and a large range cooker.
Also on the ground floor is a large ensuite bedroom with zip and link beds.
The first floor Master bedroom has an ensuite bath/shower room and dressing area with sofa bed and truckle bed - ideal for smaller children (11 and under only). There is also a second bedroom on this floor with zip and link beds.
There are extensive lawns at the front of the property with a small ornamental pond on one lawn - plenty of places to sit out and relax and enjoy this beautiful and unique setting. There is a Hot Tub too for extra indulgence.

doubles, please advise at time of booking if you would like any set up as
twins.

Sitting Room with multi fuel stove, ample seating for 8, smart TV, large
glass circular table and chairs.

Grounds large with 2 lawns at the front, 1 lawn at the back, garden
furniture, barbecue, hot tub.
NB: Care with small children ornamental pond on front lawn and 4 ft drop at end
of rear garden.
