Bwthyn Clyd is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its peaceful location, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the spacious and clean interiors, the beautiful garden, and the property's suitability for families and those with mobility needs. The conservatory and garden are particular highlights, offering relaxation and wildlife watching opportunities.
Most guests found the cottage clean and well-maintained, though there were a few mentions of cobwebs, dust, and crumbs on arrival. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, suggesting generally good but occasionally inconsistent cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its quietness and peacefulness, with easy access to local attractions. It's ideal for exploring both Anglesey and Snowdonia, though a car is essential. The rural setting and wildlife add to the charm.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and sofas, although there were a couple of comments about a firm mattress and sagging sofas. The spaciousness and warmth of the property contribute to the overall comfort.
The property is well-equipped with a modern kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a conservatory. Some minor issues were noted, such as a missing hairdryer and a creaky bed frame. Maintenance appears responsive, with a handyman available for issues like lightbulb changes.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The property is situated inland and the immediate surrounds are pleasant if not especially scenic and it is in a good location if you wish to travel and explore other parts of Anglesey and North Wales. It is about 20 minute drive to the nearest good beach at Newborough. Kitchen facilities are good though not outstanding and the large fridge/freezer is very useful. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable with the double being firm and the two singles on the soft side. Given the space available a king size bed would be a useful addition to replace the double. The duvet covers could also be larger on the existing beds. In the bathroom off the double bedroom a hook for towels would be useful and a minor irritation was that the bathroom lock was loose and fell out - we left it out for the duration of our stay. Overall we would recommend this property.
