Guests consistently praise Plas Cefn Mawr for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. The property's location is appreciated for its convenience to local attractions and the added paddock is a hit with families and pet owners. The welcoming owners and the property's spaciousness contribute to a delightful stay, although some minor maintenance issues and a lack of welcome gifts are noted.
The property receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotless' and 'very clean'. This indicates a well-maintained and hygienic environment.
The location is frequently described as convenient and ideal for accessing local attractions and routes. However, some guests noted the proximity to a main road, which may affect privacy but does not detract significantly from the overall experience.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of cosy settings, comfortable beds, and a warm atmosphere. A few guests noted issues with mattresses and shower facilities, but these are exceptions in the overall positive feedback.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor paddock. Some guests suggested improvements in kitchen utensils and TV size, indicating room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no consistent mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category, and guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

The garden has pretty flowering shrubs, with pleasant views across lush pasture land to the hills of Snowdonia. The decked area is great for al fresco meals, and in fine weather, the garden is a lovely sun trap.

The outside area is perfect for both parking your vehicles and the paddock was a absolute hit with our two border collies. The house is situated perfectly for surrounding places to visit! We will be booking again

Beds are comfortable and showers good. Indoor cleanliness satisfactory, the kitchen floor needs a deep clean. Only basic kitchen equipment, e.g no chopping boards were provided for food preparation. No welcome pack or instructions folder was provided which would have been helpful. Slight damp smell upstairs. The outdoor space, the paddock, garden furniture and parking are all great and very well maintained. We had a lovely holiday, thank you.
