This lovely detached property is situated in the small hamlet of Llanfwrog close to the village of Llanfaethlu and a short drive from the popular beaches and coves around Church Bay. Centrally located, this cottage offers spacious accommodation for a family or group of friends to get together to explore the delights of this picturesque island. The cottage is very well-maintained throughout and offers bright and airy accommodation with some fantastic countryside views. You enter the property into a spacious, light hallway which has French doors leading into the comfortable sitting area with its triple aspect windows where you can relax in front of the woodburning stove looking out at the fantastic countryside views. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals and has good-quality appliances and granite worktops. The dining area will seat six guests comfortably and the breakfast bar has stools for an additional two guests. Also on the ground floor there is a well-appointed king-size double bedroom and a ground floor double-ended bath in the bathroom, perfect for relaxing in after a day’s walking. Upstairs leads to a further three comfortable bedrooms, all with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, plus a modern shower room. Outside there is large lawned front garden and a patio to the rear with a picnic bench, ideal for dining alfresco on warmer evenings. The nearby village of Llanfaethlu is home to The Black Lion Inn, a Grade II listed 18th century country dining pub where you could stop for a refreshing drink. Walkers will be spoilt for choice with the 125 miles of coastal path around the island to discover or spend a day in one of the many sandy coves and beaches around Church Bay where, if you are lucky, you may see dolphins in the bay? The RAF Valley is not too far away which also makes this area a fantastic spot for planespotters. Further afield you will find the historic castles at Beaumaris and Caernarfon and children and adults alike will be fascinated by a visit to Sea Zoo. A holiday wouldn’t be complete without visiting South Stack Cliffs in Holyhead which is one of the best places for wildlife in the UK or drive across to the mainland and enjoy the delights of the Snowdonia National Park. Whatever you find to do, this cottage will make a wonderful holiday base and tempt you back again and again.

The small village of Llanfaethlu nestles close to the stunning, north west coastline of Anglesey. Amidst spectacular cliffs and sandy beaches, this unassuming village provides a local shop and Post Office, whilst nearby Church Bay boasts a superb seafood restaurant. The surrounding countryside boasts excellent fishing, birdwatching and coastal walks, with climbing on offer in Snowdonia. Indulge in fabulous watersports, including kitesurfing, diving and sailing at the stunning Rhosneigr beach, or enjoy 18 holes at a choice of three local golf courses.
