Guests have had a generally positive experience at this well-equipped and modern property, appreciating its convenient location for exploring Anglesey and its proximity to amenities. The property is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and the quiet, family-friendly environment. Some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements have been noted, but these do not detract from the overall enjoyable stays reported by many.

The property is frequently described as clean and tidy, with specific mentions of a very clean arrival condition. However, a few guests noted areas where attention to detail could be improved, such as dust on skirting boards and the presence of dead flies, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for its convenience and proximity to beaches, restaurants, and shops. It is described as a quiet area that is handy for travelling around the island, contributing to a high score.

Many guests found the property comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy environment. However, some guests found the beds too firm, and there were comments about the lack of a TV in one of the bedrooms, which slightly affects the comfort score.

The property is well-appointed with modern facilities and a well-equipped kitchen. Some guests suggested additional items like coat hooks and a tumble dryer. Maintenance issues with doors and a leak were noted, indicating room for improvement in this category.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the property owners in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The house was overall clean in the areas where it mattered however the skirting boards were particularly dusty in the en-suite bathroom. There was also cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Mould was present in the bottom of the en-suite shower. Rubbish was found under the bed in the large upstairs bedroom. An abundance of crumbs were found between the sofa cushions on both sofas. On arrival we couldn’t get into the property until around 4.30pm instead of the check in time of 3pm as a locksmith was present fixing an issue with the front door and he had been scheduled to arrive at 3pm. Not much of an issue as we didn’t arrive until 3:50pm however we wanted to drop our bags straight off and go back out to the supermarket which mean we did have to wait a bit before we could do so. I’d read reviews prior about the back doors being faulty and on arrival we could not even open the back doors as they had been closed incorrectly and we didn’t want to force them and break anything. When I messaged the owner to let her know they weren’t closed properly she gave me a call to advise it was because of the warm weather they’d experienced and the doors had dropped. The owner was lovely and arranged for someone to fix the doors on Monday. Someone came round whilst we were out and had gone before we got home which wasn’t an issue. We didn’t actually use the back doors as we were quite worried they wouldn’t shut and didn’t want to risk not being able to get them shut and locked with valuables in the property. The shower over the bath upstairs seemed to cause a small leak through the ceiling when using. I noticed splashes of water on the floor when putting something in the bin and looked up to find the ceiling was wet right after my sister had used the shower. We refrained from using the upstairs shower over the bath and used the shower in the en-suite to avoid further leaks. (I note a previous review stated the same issue and the owner replied it was user error and that the upstairs bathroom had been flooded however as a grown adult I can firmly state the shower over the bath was used correctly and the bathroom was not flooded on this occasion, no water was on the bathroom floor at all.) I admit this had not been reported to the owner at the time and that’s because we didn’t want a 3rd person to interrupt our stay at the property. Apologies for reporting this late however as I stated, it was not user error causing the leak. We bought a dvd to watch however the picture played and there was no sound. I didn’t contact the owner as I was unsure if the dvd was just faulty however the dvd has played fine now we’re at home. The tv is well equipped with free view and on demand services such as Netflix (if you have a subscription to log in with) and channel 4 on demand etc. so having not a dvd player wasn’t a problem. Free WiFi was great and there was no issues with the speed. I used my iPad to stream on an evening in bed and didn’t have an issue with playback. Signal at the property (and on the island as a whole) was really poor so the free wifi was definitely appreciated, thank you! Issues aside the property is really well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils. There was also a hairdryer and iron provided. I brought my own towels however my sister used the towels provided and noted that the towels could be a little bigger as they’re a little too small for an adult to wrap around the body. The bed was very firm but comfortable. I couldn’t feel the springs in the mattress. It felt pretty solid at first but when I laid down it wasn’t uncomfortable but that depends on personal preference I suppose. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the property and it is in a quiet and convenient location within Anglesey. Although it seems like I’ve listed a lot of issues, most were minor and didn’t spoil our holiday. Thank you for providing the holiday let at a reasonable price. We would look to stay here again if we came back to Anglesey.

Our first visit to Anglesey and the weather was great. After a days activity we were able to sit in the garden and enjoy a glass of wine. We would definitely recommend this house for a holiday.

The beds were so hard I bought a double duvet to sleep on and used the outside cushions. The door to the back garden would not close, so had to call someone out, he said it had dropped and needed to be mended.
