About this property

Located in a prime position, within the coastal village of Benllech upon the Isle of Anglesey is Gwersyllt, a delightful, three-bedroom bungalow. Enjoying sea and mountain glimpses and a convenient setting near the beach, and a host of amenities, Gwersyllt offers the ideal base for a seascape, inviting six guests and two furry companions. Benefit from a private driveway for up to three cars, before stepping up into the property, firstly reaching the homely sitting room, complete with plush seating and a Smart TV. Continue through to the snug, also featuring a Smart TV, whilst the chef of your group rustles up some tasty dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy your meals in the formal dining room, or head outdoors to bask in the sunshine for an alfresco affair, arriving to a pet-friendly patio and summerhouse. When sleep calls, select from three well-appointed bedrooms, including a double with Smart TV, a further double, and a twin, all serviced by the shower room. Come morning, enjoy a stroll across Benllech beach or continue further towards the stunning shoreline of Red Wharf Bay, both inviting four-legged friends, before traversing further into the county, with the chance to explore Beaumaris Pier and its magnificent castle. Further attractions are dotted across the county, including Pili Palas Nature World, Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, and Plas Newydd House and Gardens, offering guided tours of the mansion and pretty grounds, whilst crossing over to mainland North Wales will bring you to Bangor; here you can visit Penrhyn Castle & Garden, hike across Spinnies Aberogwen North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, and people watch from Bangor Promenade. Complete your break by heading to Snowdonia National Park, brimming with must-visit scenic points, including Carnedd Llewelyn, Aber Falls, and Glyder Fawr. Escape with your loved ones to Gwersyllt.

Benllech is a lovely, long, sandy beach that is quite popular with families. A slipway makes it simple for everyone to access the beach. A picnic area and several stores and cafés along the beach, and the village centre has more shops, pubs, hotels, and restaurants. The location aims to appeal to all tastes, with the village itself being perfect for family vacations and the rural setting providing serenity and convenient access to the coast, rural Anglesey, and of course the breath-taking Snowdonia mountains.

Very thoughtful and much appreciated. The property was spotlessly clean, had every kitchen utensil we needed and enough cutlery and crockery to fill the dishwasher plus spare to use. Brilliant location, 10 mins walk to beach, even closer for shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. We visited during storm Kathleen but still managed to have a fabulous week and the property was so spacious, we could spend time there to watch TV, play games, or find our own ‘quiet spot’ to read. Highly recommend.

The bungalow was spacious and very clean. Sue & Simon left lovely touches and the hamper was a real bonus, even doggy treats for our black lab Bob. The major bonus of this bungalow is the location, so close to shops, pubs, restaurants and the fantastic beach. Get the tide right and the walk to Red Wharf Bay is fantastic. The bungalow was a good location as a base to explore the rest of the island which is glorious. We would definitely recommend Gwersyllt and would also recommend booking a meal at Pebbles which is dog friendly.

It's such a spacious and well equipped property. There were 5 plus a dog in our party and we had ample room. The children especially loved the snug. There was nothing we needed, bedding and towels were included and we received a welcome hamper on arrival. The owners, Sue and Simon, were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property as a base to explore the Island. It's walking distance to the amenities and beach. We're already talking about when we can go back.
