Guests say

Bryn Eira Tack Room is a well-received holiday let in Anglesey, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome packs and the property's suitability for dogs. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests willing to recommend and return.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a few mentioning issues such as cobwebs and a sticking fridge door. The positive remarks on cleanliness far outweigh the negatives, indicating a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The location is frequently described as quiet, peaceful, and convenient for exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia. The proximity to motorways and local attractions, along with the availability of parking, contributes to the high score for location.

Comfort is highlighted by guests mentioning cosy bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a warm welcome. However, some guests noted the sofas and beds could be more comfortable, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and good parking. However, several guests noted tired kitchen cabinets and a desire for access to the games room, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Guests often mention the thoughtful welcome packs, which added to their positive experience. While these gifts are appreciated, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

The Tack Room makes up part of the L-shaped Bryn Eira barn conversion which has a courtyard at its centre. This sweet holiday cottage is nestled near peaceful Anglesey countryside there will be some restrictions about dogs being on leads in some woodlands and on beaches and is on the edge of the famous village of Llanfairpwll. Just nip off the A55 and you’re more or less at the door!

There’s an open plan living space with kitchen, dining and seating areas. This allows for a sociable holiday - who ever is cooking dinner, can chat with the rest of the family at the same time!

The kitchen has an electric oven/hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. The round dining table seats up to four people.

The squishy sofas are ideal for curling up on with a good book. Alternatively, there is a TV to keep you entertained after a day of exploring.

The master bedroom is a good size with a king size bed and ensuite shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin.

To the back of the holiday cottage is a twin room with a wardrobe and dresser for storing your clothes.

The large bathroom has a shower, basin, loo and towel rail.

There is off-road parking at the front of the holiday cottage with spaces allocated. At the back of the cottage is a small courtyard which you can sit out in with your morning cup of tea or coffee and enjoy some fresh air.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch - or Llanfair PG to the locals- is an ideal location for a holiday cottage. You’re close to some of Anglesey and North Wales’ finest beaches, attractions, walks and activities. The village itself has two pubs, a Co-Op, and a petrol garage, meaning the essentials are within easy reach.

If there are more than four in your party you can also rent out Bryn Eira Stables (1008716), which sleeps ten and is located on the western side of the courtyard.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.

The whole property was modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower amazing. Good TV and nice to have a DVD player, although I didn't use it. Kitchen facilities were excellent with everything I needed (and more, as I didn't use the dishwasher), including a great fridge freezer and washing machine. It would have been nice to have had a bit more lighting but not a major issue. Plenty of easy car parking, especially as I was the only guest at the properties. Lovely to have access to the fields to the rear and the small outside seating area, which I had been looking forward to but the weather had other ideas! As I was arriving late, the owner had made sure the lights and heating were on which was much appreciated after a very long drive. And the Christmas tree was a nice touch. My only disappointment - and this is personal preference - was the lack of a real view, although there is a view of the field from the kitchen area window, and more/ bigger windows to make it feel lighter in the lounge area. Being dull weather in December, I had to have the light on during the day. It may be different in summer.

Fully enjoyed our stay. Double bedroom had large bed with on suite shower. Very powerful too. Lots of room. The twin was very comfortable and the toilet and shower are just outside the bedroom. Everything we needed was there. Towels and bedding supplied and very clean. Just need to bring your own tea towels. Easy parking and no issue with WiFi apart from logging back in if not used for while. Looking forward to returning again in the future.
